Floor 17: Taste with a view

It’s not every day that you get to have dinner with an amazing view. But if you would like to experience it, the new Ramada Apollo Hotel in Amsterdam is the place to go.Floor 17 is the top floor where the restaurant is located, and wow, what a view! A panoramic sight of Amsterdam and the nearby Rembrandtpark.
You can have a quality dinner and drinks here, for a very affordable price. We had a taste of what’s on the menu:

•A starter of house smoked salmon with a mousse of goat cheese and dices of Granny Smith
•A second starter with fillet of veal, anchovies-garlic mayonaise, small beech mushrooms and beech cress
•A main course with cod on the skin on a green herb risotto, mussels, clams, vongole and foam of shallots
•A second main dish of gently cooked fowl with a sauce of lemon and szechuan, croquant of haystack ham, baked polenta and caramellized chicory
•The dessert was a an explosion of chocolate with fresh red fruit and homemade vanilla icecream

They also offer a rather interesting concept with Caviar. The caviar per tutti (caviar for all in Italian, TD) is an arrangement of a glass of champagne and caviar which is kept accessible for a broader audience, made possible through a special cultivation by the renowned House of Caviar Jacobus Toet.

Also Floor 17 is set to bring you proper entertainment for the weekends with international DJ’s behind the decks.
