The floral trend goes beyond the clothes this season. This Spring Gucci reveals the Flora Garden.
A refined collection of floral fragrances, honoring one of the most known floral designs of the brand. “With Flora by Gucci, I want to show the beauty of the Flora-woman: she is charming, romantic and optimistic. The new Flora Garden collection celebrates the versatile sense of a woman to show her personality”, says Frida Giannini, Creative Director of Gucci. With the five new fragrances, women can discover and reveal the many facets of their characters; their beauty, grace, glamour, generosity and glory.
The Flora garden is based on the five flowers used to create the iconic print, creating a unique bouquet for each fragrance:
Gorgeous Gardenia
Top notes: red berries, pear
Heart notes: white gardenia, frangi-pani flower
Basic notes: patchoeli, a hint of brown sugar
Gracious Tuberose
Top notes: violet leafs, peach
Heart notes: tuberose, orange-blossom, rose
Basic notes: Rock Rose, white cedarwood
Glamourous Magnolia
Top notes: fresia, green leafs and zest of citrus
Heart notes: peony, magnolia
Basic notes: musc, sandelwood and a hint of chocolate
Generous Violet
Top notes: violet leafs
Heart notes: iris, small violet leafs
Basic notes: suede
Glorious Mandarin
Top notes: mandarin, peony
Heart notes: jasmin and a hint of piña colada
Basic notes: grey amber, white musc, soft wood
We got to try the first three, of which the more sensual Gorgeous Gardenia is the favourite.
