STEAMCREAM launches LOVE FOR JAPAN

March 11 will mark the one year anniversary of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.

Anglo-Japanese skincare brand STEAMCREAM has launched an initiative to raise funds for the survivors of the tragedy. LOVE FOR JAPAN is a tin filled with the brand’s famous ‘steamed’ cream, which is whipped thick and rich to deliver the ultimate smooth feeling to your skin.

One hundred per cent of sales are being donated to charities working in the areas of Japan effect by the disaster. One such example is the non-profit organization Fair Trade Tohoku’s kindergarten project, which was already working in Sendai before the tsunami. Its 30 staff members were all in some way affected directly by the disaster, but are persevering to establish a kindergarten so children can return to school and receive the educational and emotional support they need to overcome the tragedy.

STEAMCREAM hopes the campaign will become an ongoing global fundraising initiative for sustainable, continued support. After purchase, you’ll be able to keep up-to-date online to see how your funds are making a difference.

We normally get our STEAMCREAM at Cosmania (check it out for the latest – and cutest – tin designs) but the LOVE FOR JAPAN tin can be bought for £12.95 exclusively at www.steamcream.co.uk.
