Okay, so the Louis Vuitton locomotive was THE eyecatcher of the show a week ago. But is a piece of decor -even for a fashion show– worth spending (reportedly) $8 million??? Maybe as an anti-reaction to the crisis, the luxury brand has no worries for its sales to drop. Still very popular in the Asian continent and wealthy oil states of the Middle-East, they won’t be stunned by a few million extra to enhance the show-effect.
The custom made prop can be used as a museum-exhibit. Or bid for at a charity event. At least, that’s what we would suggest.
Oh well, we must say it was entertaining, and the collection Marc Jacobs designed to celebrate his 15 year anniversary collaboration for la maison Vuitton was pretty amazing. Enjoy it all over again in the video below:
