These laid-back beach houses are renovated fishermen’s cottages. Back in the days these fishermen couldn’t afford a proper flooring, so they left their floors sandy. But hey, there’s nothing wrong with sand!
The sandy floors in these holiday houses are imported sand from the dunes (feels good on your toes too) except for the bed- and bathroom (what’s wrong with a muddy shower?!?). Enjoy the view of the rice fields, the sand dunes and the river estuary. Funny fact: Christian Louboutin has a home in here.
