We’re loving the new TV series Pan Am and its flashbacks to retro fashion and beauty. After all, you can’t get much more classic than a dose of liquid liner and cherry lips. Want to get the look? Here are the must-have products:
1) Foundation
Stewardesses on the show – and in reality – always have creamy, flawless skin. Start with a good layer of correcting foundation to even your tone and complexion. Try Clinique’s Even Better Makeup SPF 15 Foundation (€ 28,30 at Douglas).
2) Liquid Liner

3) Eye Makeup Remover
To get a crisp, perfect stroke of liner our trick is to use a Q-Tip dabbed in makeup remover. After applying the liner, use the Q-Tip to gently remove bleeds or quivers. Try L’Oréal’s Gentle Eye Makeup Remover (about € 6 at drugstores).
4) Mascara
Sky-high lashes were all the rage in the 1960s. Our all-time favourite for volumizing and lengthening is Dior’s Diorshow (about € 30). Available at Douglas and Sephora.
5) Lips
The flight crew is never ready for takeoff or landing without a fresh pop of colour on the lips. We love cherry red or a creamy nude to finish the look. For va-va-voom factor, opt for Lord & Berry’s Vogue Red lipstick (€ 22 at Cosmania).
