Digitalistic beauty: Sachajuan

It’s a mouthful to pronounce, but Swedish label Sachajuan is a must-have in our haircare regime.

The first Sachajuan salon was founded in 1997 by pro hairdressers Sacha Mitic and Juan Rosenlind, who styled for Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Allure and GQ to name a few. After their salon gained huge popularity in Stockholm, they launched a line of products in 2003, which has received equal praise.

Packaging is clean and simple – just the way we like  it – and the goods truly work. Their secret is called ‘Ocean Silk Technology’, whereby the scientists extract proteins and minerals from sea algae and infuse them into the products.

Personal favourites include Sachajuan’s Volume Powder, which is like a spray-on dry shampoo that works to add texture and body to hair. Their shampoo-conditioner duos are also irresistible; they lather wonderfully and smell decadent.

FYI, celeb fans include Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Donna Karan and Paris Hiton.

Available in NL via Cosmania and in the USA via Woodley & Bunny.
