Oui, oui, it’s Paris Fashion Week! Dutch designer duo Viktor & Rolf presented their latest autumn/winter 2011 collection at the Jardin des Tuileries’s Espace Ephémére. A runway show full of red faces, black and white outfits with a little bit of red. Hilary Alexander (Telegraph) wrote about a futuristic ‘Jurassic Park’ feel, as gleaming short-strapless dresses, jackets and pleated skirts appeared in silver leather, bristling with multiple applications of jagged-edge fins and fans. Well, didn’t we all love that exciting movie back in the days?
Seen on the runway: rose printed knits, silk dresses, big shoulders (and with big, we mean really, really big!), high waisted trousers, lots of black leather, lovely cocktail dresses and digitalistic platform boots which it looked like they’ve been dipped in red paint.
