Karl Lagerfeld is one lucky man. Our second favorite designer (Marc Jacobs is still our number one) will be in New York on September 10 to receive an important fashion award.
Karl will be in the Big Apple at the same day of Fashion’s Night Out, the big Vogue shopping experience. But in the afternoon he’ll receive an award! The Couture Council of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology will honor the designer with the Fashion Visionary Award. “He is not just incredibly respected within the fashion world, but also known to everybody and instantly recognizable,” says Valerie Steele, director of the museum.
