Bugs are hot! And do we like that? Yes, now we do. First we thought: please no bugs! They scare us off…(especially bedbugs from London. Long story short; we almost had to sleep on the street during London Fashion Week in September because the apartment we booked was full of bedbugs!) But once we’ve seen them on the runway, we adore bugs! (Or the (scarab) beetle to be specific) We spotted them as cool accessories on the runway at Diane van Furstenberg and Bottega Veneta.
After seeing those cool items, I (digitalista. M) fell in love immediately. I spotted a black bug necklace in a little fashion store at Haarlem yesterday and bought it of course. So let me introduce you to my new pet now: Betsy the Beetle. Isn’t she cute?
