Okay, so I have a confession to make. I have a slight addiction to The Hills and The City. It’s probably a girl thing, I don’t know. However, one of the ‘personalities’ I like in the series for her ‘bluntness’ is Kelly Cutrone. She’ s not afraid to speak her mind, something we’re used to in the Dutch culture, but seems less popular in the American culture.

Don’t you ever get scared of tripping down the stairs in a club? Well, now there’s not only lucite make-up to give us some light in the darkness, but also a lucite shoe to keep us ‘lit’ throughout the night.
First we thought that red would be a new haircolour for 2010, but now it seems the scores are rising between peroxide blonde and raven black.
Agyness Deyn, who is known for her experimental hairdo’s was spotted with a short raven black coupe, Kate Moss was photographed with cropped black hair for ID-magazine, and Natalia Vodionova, who’s usually angelic blonde, turned her locks as black as a crow for the Givenchy campaign.
I work at a PR office that mainly works for fashion clients. You might even say ‘I work in fashion’. And it’s the best job in the world! At least at this moment it is. So how come I always have to defend myself for working in fashion and loving it? Even to my own friends! Last night I spoke to this guy who -amazingly- knew who Tom Ford is. So I thought: Ha! Nice! Someone who will not judge me.
A new year also means a fresh new blogger in our midst. And although the snow is falling with huge flakes from the sky right now, our girl April is set to give us a bit of spring and sunshine vibes. What’s in a name!
Let us give you a short introduction: April works in fashion PR, so she’s a real fashion-insider that will give a little peek in what
Lindsay Lohan…when she was a cute little redhead in the movie The Parent Trap I loved her. Nowadays I feel sorry for her. An example: her sad preformace during the Rodarte SS10 show. The short baby-doll dresses were a little to much Linsday and less high-fashion. After getting a lot of critic, she tries it again! With her former legging line 6126. The line, according to WWD, will consist of 100 pieces. The average prices will be between $100 and $150, but go so high as $600 for a leather jacket, and will retail at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom.
It’s 2010! And like every year, we have a lot of ambitious plans! A short list…
We wish you all the best for 2010!!! That it may be a loving, healthy, creative, fashionfilled and joyful new year (well, decennium actually). XOXO The Digitalistas
