We love everything that breathes fashion, and fashion illustrators also belong to that category. There are three whom we think really deserve some credit.
Danny Roberts
Starting with Danny Roberts. This 23-year old artist first studied Photography and moved on to study Fashion Design at the Academy of art in San Francisco. His artwork was honored by being the first featured portfolio of 2007 Graduates on the WGSN Generation Now Website, a unique showcase of graduating talent from the world’s leading universities and design colleges.
He has his own blog on Bloglovin’; Igor+Andre, and he sells t-shirts featuring his illustrations. Digitalista M. mentioned his- ‘Coco Rocha on a pumpkin’- a few days ago.
Jessica Wong
The second one is freelance illustrator Jessica Wong. She developed this cute fictional little persona called ‘plaster doll’. Recognizable by the plaster on her forehead. She wears designer-items, fresh from the catwalks that can be seen on her own Plaster Doll blog.
Pip McManus
And the third one is Pip McManus. She studied Fashion & Design at the Western Australian school of Art & Design and already knew half way she wanted to be an illustrator. She works part-time at a shoe-store, she collects the French Vogue, her boyfriend is a jazz musician, she loves to watch Will and Grace and dreams of having her own exhibition @ Colette. Her website is currently under construction, but we think we will hear and see much more about Pip’s talents!
