Like a girl loves candy, I fell in love with ‘Les Néréides’ Jewellery. Les Néréides is a French bijoux brand, created 15 years ago by husband and wife Enzo and Pascual Amaddeo. Beautiful chains of bejeweled flowers that seem crafted by fairies, chandelier earrings topped by tiny white doves and daisies. The pieces are handpainted, embroidered or styled with miniature pearls and Swarovski crystal inlays…
The name ‘Les Néréides’ comes from a myth: ‘the Néréides were nymphs of the sea who guided sailors through storms and bad weather’. When you walk into a Les Néréides boutique, it’s like a fairy tale world… I was standing in one of the shops and I really felt like a little girl in a candy shop. Because I didn’t know what to choose. Everything was so pretty, shiny and beautiful! I could not include and I bought four little rings. One ring has a small, light blue violet with a Swarovski stone in the middle. The corresponding ring has a light blue Swarovski stone with a little daisy on the top in the right corner. The third ring is a small pink bow and its fourth ring has a green Swarovski stone with a small flower on the right side. What fun is that you can combine the rings, so you can mix and match.
