Last but not least, there are the 45 luxury three -or four bedroom villas featuring different layouts, views and interiors to suit every requirement.
The architecture of the 5-star resort was in the hands of Conran & Partners (from king of British design Sir Terence Conran), and British furniture and interiors designer Michael Sodeau was appointed for the interiors design. About the style of the spaces he says: “Our goal was to create living spaces that would be strong, embracing yet transparent, and layered in form. Completely modern yet saturated with Portuguese traditions.”
The Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel offers complete privacy; set against a backdrop of delightful seclusion and natural wild beauty. Inspired by Portuguese architecture, the design centres on giving the feeling of a village. The indigenous materials and details used in the interiors reflect a real sense of place.
